Providence Bussiness News Annnounces top sale of the year in Narragansett, RI
Engel & Völkers East Greenwich announced Thursday that the home located at 1020 Ocean Road was purchased for $6.25 million. That is the highest residential sale in the town this year.
The sale is also the second highest in Rhode Island this year. Last month, “Arcadia,” a 6,974-square-foot home in Westerly’s Watch Hill section, sold for $9 million. According to the warranty deed filed with the town on Jan. 31, 1020 Ocean Road LLC, a liability corporation, acquired the home from Anthony C. Green and Tiffany Donovan Green of Weston, Conn.
The property has four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and one half bathroom. Engel & Völkers also says the property offers oceanfront views throughout the home.

“All of my summers were spent in Narragansett at our family home in Bonnet,” Engel & Völkers global real estate advisor Kim Marion said in a statement, “we spent our time building sandcastles, climbing the rocks, and collecting sea glass that I still have to this day. Selling this beautiful home to another family with Narragansett roots felt very special for me.”
The property was valued last year at $2.97 million, according to town property records. The Green’s purchased the home in 2020 for $3.3 million.
